James Jenkins
Mr. Jenkins has over 20 years of experience as a Chicago Fire Department Firefighter and Fire Marshal. During his career Mr. Jenkins has conducted over 1,200 public and private sector fire and explosion investigations, including residential, high rise, commercial, industrial, and vehicle fires. As a Fire Marshal, Mr. Jenkins regularly managed large fire scenes as well as groups of investigators during cause and origin investigations. He is an experienced expert witness and regularly gives deposition and trial testimony.
Mr. Jenkins is an IAAI-Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) where he also maintains a vehicle investigation endorsement (CFI-V). In addition, he is a NAFI-Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and a NAFI- Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator. Mr. Jenkins is also a State of Illinois Certified Fire Investigator.
